Cherokee Rose Academy. Founded and built by Rose Loreella sometime in the 1800's. This place may not be historical, but it is widely known for what happened here. Horrible things went on behind the walls of the great stone academy. But what? No one ever knew, but people who knew their horses knew that horses never acted without spirit. Besides, any good horse would have a spark of spirit in it's eyes. But these horses had none.
At first it was thought that the horses were just worn from the long practice hours. But, a closer look proved them all wrong. It was nearly 1898 when they sent an undercover agent into the building. She was small enough to pass off as a 14 year old girl. Her name? Josie Adamm. She was actually 25, but stood only 4' 10", so she was rather small for an adult. She went into the building under the name Samantha Raines. She carefully observed each lesson. Passing them off to observe the horses carefully. She first noticed a bay gelding who tried fighting back. He was quickly led out of the ring, and then, the sound of a whip cracked the air.
At first, Samantha thought the horse was being beat. But, what she saw was worse than a beating. The horse was being ran around and around until sweat covered his body. She carefully followed the people when they began to lead the old horse away. She watched as they sprayed him thoroughly with a water hose. The thoroughbred was then dried quite well, saddled, and then led back out. The people told the girl that he merely needed a breather. Technically, it wasn't animal cruelty, but at the same time, it was. Breaking a horse's spirit for your own selfish needs and wants in Ohio had been illegal for 25 years now. Josie went back, withdrawing from the school after gaining the evidence she needed.
When she showed the video, it was then displayed on the news for all to see. Every child withdrew from the school, and for 20 years, no one went back. The school went bankrupt. Then, 45 year old Josie took over. She got the school back on it's feet with half wild horses. Teaching children how to ride and handle tame and wild horses on their own. Her school was booming with success, but soon, people stopped coming. It was mostly the background of the school that stopped them. Josie passed away on her 50[sup]th[/sup] birthday. She was in a riding accident. It was a cold December, and the lake that was thought to be frozen over collapsed beneath them, killing both horse and rider. When the body was found, the school was put up for sale. No one would buy it, so the government took it.
Now children from all over the world to ride at this amazing academy. And you don't have to be perfect to join either. You just need to have a dream of getting in the saddle. Some of the best riders were schooled here. And even after all the events that happened, Cherokee Rose Academy still remained unhistorical. But, the choice of the history in your mind is your choice to make. Should this school be put down in history forever? Or remain hidden from the world?

CRA is a totally new site, and I really hope that is becomes active. Some changes are still being made, but they aren't major, so I thought that perhaps it was time to let this site be known to everyone else. After all, it could be great fun. Role Players of any level are welcome here, so feel free to join. But, I do ask that you try to get 200 words per post since CRA is a more advanced site than beginner. But hey, you can always get help! But other than that, you're all good. There aren't that many rules, but however still effective. Staff positions are open, but please, do not ask. In my opinion it's very rude, and pretty power hungry. But, that's about it. All you need to remember anyway. And of course the rules we all love so much! :P
